As you probably know, humans aren’t the only ones who can benefit greatly from the effects of CBD. Although CBD for pets is controversial, it can be a savior for pets who have struggled otherwise. Though the stories I’ll be sharing with you are all very positive, make sure to do your own research and seek the advice of your vet before administering CBD to your furry friend.
We’ll start off with the amazing story of the 10 year old American Bulldog named Murphy. Poor Murphy had really been through the ringer before trying CBD. He’d been suffering from tumor growths for months. His owners repeatedly had the tumors taken out surgically, but they would re-appear 4-6 weeks after surgery every single time. Finally, there was no extra skin to suture back together in the areas where surgery had taken place.
Murphy’s owners were sad to say goodbye. In his last moments, they wanted to make him as comfortable as possible, so they gave him some CBD dog treats to help with the pain. Well, the CBD took away the pain all right, and much more! His tumors never regrew! And the small ones that hadn’t been removed started to shrink! Two years later Murphy is now happy and healthy and his owners couldn’t be more thrilled.
Another recent story from a reddit user details the story of his 16 year old cat with severe anxiety. His cat had always been skittish, but the extreme changes he noticed started to worry him. Out of nowhere the cat started pooping all over the house, meowing incessantly, and jumping on his owner while he was sleeping. He was taken to the vet and got a clean bill of health. The owner was told it was most likely just stress and anxiety.
Not knowing what to do, his owner stumbled across CBD at his local smoke shop. Since his first day of treatment, his cat hasn’t pooped outside of his litter box a single time. He’s also quite down a lot and seems to be displaying normal behaviors. “I did not enjoy picking up poop from my carpet at least twice a day; in fact, I would violently retch every time, but what makes me full of joy is that my little O is feeling so much better now. I hope that this info helps some of you and your furry friends.” – u/randomraindrops
