Brain Cancer Survivor Opens CBD Store

Stu Meyer was a normal guy working in software, until his life changed drastically in 2015. Stu was diagnosed with brain cancer. He underwent a nine hour surgery to remove the tumor in his brain, followed by bouts of chemo and other toxic treatments. This gnarly combo of chemo and radiation left him with nerve pain, trouble sleeping, nausea, and an overwhelming amount of discomfort. Stu tried opioids and acupuncture among other methods of pain relief, but nothing worked.

Using his software skills, he started researching CBD. He spent hundreds of dollars on CBD products that didn’t work before coming across a cream that finally did! Continuing his research, he dove deep, not only looking into companies, but also manufacturers and equipment makers. He wanted to understand why there was such a range of quality in these products. Realizing that not everyone had the computer knowledge, or money to be seeking out the best products available, Stu decided he would help others by opening his own CBD store with the best of the best that he had discovered.

Today, in Montrose California you’ll find “CBD Comfort Zone” at 2490 Honolulu Ave. His store carries his heavily researched gels, oils, creams, teas, and more. Though it’s quite different from his previous profession, Stu loves having customers come in and talk about their ailments so he can recommend a product just for them. He has a personal connection with everyone that walks through his doors and no one seems to leave without a smile.
