There has been a lot in the news the past few weeks about people being admitted to the hospital with a lung disease or even dying. The idea of this is scary if you are a vaper or know someone who is vaping. The New York government has actually used this as leverage to place a ban on flavored vape liquids.
The good news is that nicotine vaping really has nothing to do with this issue. The issue is coming from black market THC cartridges and it’s not even the people that are making them. It’s the middle man that is messing with your end product and putting people in the hospital.
So what are they doing that is causing this issue? Imagine if you could take 100 cartridges and turn them into 200 or even 300 carts with a little bit of work? High end carts, packaging and lab stickers are all over the internet and very easily obtained. Buy 100 carts, remove the juice with a syringe, cut it with something like PG and put it back into 3 carts. Bam, money tripled. When you do this however the liquid inside thins out. In order to combat that a thickening agent is added. Something like vitamin e seems like a harmless additive. Hell, we could all use some more vitamin e. It may not be harmful at room temperature but when it is heated up enough to vaporize it it can become very toxic.
So thanks to that asshole that is helping your buddy get his carts from the west coast you have to go to the hospital.
Combat this by knowing your source. If you buy a plethora of them have them tested and know for a fact that they do not contain these chemicals or I guess we all know a guinea pig that’s willing to do anything for a half priced cart.
Good luck out there and maybe it’s time to go back to dabbing off a quartz banger or the good ole’ fashion flower.
